		<description>The interesting question is whether the mullahs in Iran will see this as an excuse to hold the EU in ill repute. The US embargo serves to reenforce the mullahs' decrees isolating the population from the US by barring the import of US-origin consumer goods, while allowing state-owned enterprises to purchase whatever capital goods they could get.  It will be interesting to see whether the mullahs will use this as an excuse to bar imports of consumer goods from the EU.</description>
